Hallie runs Hal's Pals K9s in Red Bluff, California. She is great at what she does, but her online presence did not match the quality of her work. She needed a professional website to market to her local community, but more than that, she needed to stop playing phone tag with clients while trying to groom dogs.
What I built
I built a clean, modern website using Astro and Tailwind CSS that immediately shows pet owners they are dealing with a professional.
But the real work happens behind the scenes. I built a custom admin dashboard and an automated booking system powered by Firebase and Gemini AI. When a client requests a slot, the system automatically calculates and allocates the right amount of time on her schedule based on the dog's needs.
Through her private dashboard, Hallie can now manage her entire schedule, check bookings, and communicate with clients all in one place.
The result
Hallie no longer spends her evenings returning missed calls and balancing a paper calendar. The system handles the math and the scheduling logistics automatically, leaving her free to focus on the actual grooming.
